Recognition of Razavi Food Industries Company as the Leading R&D Unit in Khorasan Razavi / Launch of Four New Products in 2023
Razavi Food Industries Company has been recognized as the top research and development unit in Khorasan Razavi for the third time at the province’s first Innovation, Research, and Development event.
The CEO of Razavi Food Industries Company, in an interview with the company’s Communications and Media Department, stated that following evaluations conducted by experts from the Association of R&D Centers affiliated with the Khorasan Razavi Chamber of Industry, Mine, and Trade, the company successfully earned this prestigious title once again.
Mojtaba Hadian, speaking about the evaluation parameters of the event, mentioned that part of the assessment focused on newly launched products in the market, their sales volume, and the generated profit.
He further explained that the level of innovation and creativity in developing new products, along with the number of innovative R&D projects, were other criteria examined by experts and judges.
The CEO announced the launch of four new products by the company in 2023, stating: “This year, in addition to the health-oriented oat biscuit, three other products, including a cookie with chocolate and raisin pieces, Razavi Top Cookies, and chocolate-coated wafers, have been introduced to the market.”
He added that the establishment of a knowledge management system within the company and collaboration with the Ministry of Education to train specialized human resources in the bakery and confectionery industry were other key factors in achieving the title of the province’s exemplary R&D unit.
Hadian emphasized the importance of strengthening the connection between industry and academia, highlighting that supporting doctoral dissertations has been one of the company’s main strategies, particularly in recent years.
Regarding the company’s key R&D initiatives, he noted that plans include the production of gluten-free and sugar-free products, the implementation of an innovation management system within the company, and the organization of an event focused on innovative and technological packaging in the food industry.
