Blessings in the Heart of Iran’s Spiritual Capital
Our story began at a small bakery beside Imam Reza Hospital in the holy city of Mashhad, where bread was baked with the intention of healing and a golden standard of quality. The warm aroma of this bread soon drifted beyond the hospital walls, drawing devoted neighbors into eager queues — laying the cornerstone of a brand whose name is now synonymous with quality.
Crystallization of a Formal Identity
When demand surpassed the boundaries of imagination, the time came to establish a formal covenant. The Razavi Bread brand was born in the vicinity of Imam Reza Hospital, to serve pilgrims who wished to carry home the blessing of the City of the Merciful Imam as a keepsake. This was the first step toward transforming a traditional workshop into an industrial hub in the East of the country.
The Dream of Automation and the Dawn of Industry
In these years, Razavi Bread rolled up its sleeves for a transformation in the cake and pastry industry. With the approval of the massive factory construction project and the signing of contracts, the dream of producing 18,000 tons of cake and bread drew closer to reality. We had not come merely to produce; we had come to redefine the standards of Iran’s food industry.
The Phoenix of Production in a New Era
Following the turbulence of the early years of the Islamic Revolution, the iron will of Astan Quds Razavi breathed new life into the company’s body. On Eid al-Fitr in 1361 [1982], Factory No. 2 was inaugurated with two fully-equipped production lines — proof that there would be no halt on the path of serving the people. This was the era that proved Razavi Bread’s worth.
Establishment at the Gateway to Mashhad al-Reza
With its relocation to the current site at the corner of Qaem Square, Razavi Bread became the welcoming guardian of Mashhad. The significant increase in capital and the expansion of the factory carried a clear message: ‘We are ready to lead.’ It was here that the necessary infrastructure took shape for producing more than 200 diverse product varieties.
The Golden Age of Wafer and Global Standards
The launch of modern production lines for crispy wafers and delicious marshmallows demonstrated that Razavi Bread has no rival in understanding the palate of the younger generation. We were among the first companies to gift quality to our customers—not as a mere slogan, but in the form of international certifications, by joining the global ISO standards club.
The Birth of Strudel
During these years, Razavi Bread shook the market with the astonishing introduction of ‘Strudel’ for the first time in Iran. The Razavi Strudel was not merely a product it was a redefinition of a healthy, modern, and technologically advanced snack, one that remains the brand’s signature offering to this day.
The Dawn of Razavi Food Industries
With half a century of experience, and in pursuit of maximum dedication to meeting customer needs, the company’s name was changed to Qods Razavi Food Industries. Razavi Bread migrated from the basket of flour and bread products into every snack moment of Iranian families — so that the canopy of Razavi’s blessing might spread wider than ever before.
Today Pioneering, Knowledge-Based, and Beloved
Today, with a production capacity exceeding 44,000 tons per year and exports reaching global markets, Razavi Food Industries stands as a symbol of national production and pride. From localizing technology and manufacturing its own production lines and equipment, to creating specialized products for patients with special dietary needs, every achievement bears the signature of a company that does not follow the path; it builds the path for others.
