Razavi Food Industries Company Recognized as a National Exemplary Production Unit by the Institute of Standards and Industrial Research of Iran
At the ceremony held in honor of World Standards Day with the presence of the President of Iran Razavi Food Industries Company was recognized as Iran’s National Exemplary Production Unit for the year 1404 and received the National Honor Plaque and Trophy.
This event, held in the “Year of Investment for Production,” aimed to foster synergy in advancing national standardization goals and improving quality management across the country. The ceremony took place at the Summit Hall of Islamic Countries with the participation of the President, the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, the Head of the Institute of Standards and Industrial Research of Iran (ISIRI), senior national officials, experts, and leaders of the production sector.
Razavi Food Industries, a subsidiary of the Food and Agriculture Group of the Endowments Productivity Foundation of Astan Quds Razavi, earned this prestigious national title by strictly adhering to quality, hygiene, and national standard requirements in the food industry.
Among more than 700 production and service units participating in ISIRI’s evaluation process, only around 20 companies succeeded in achieving this rank—among them, Razavi Food Industries stood out as the representative of Khorasan Razavi Province.
The selection process was based on the SINA evaluation system and detailed reviews conducted by ISIRI experts. Only units holding all required standard certification permits for their products, and those with zero non-conformities across multiple consecutive sampling periods, were eligible to participate.
Experts emphasized that meeting such demanding criteria is possible only for a limited number of industrial units nationwide. With precise management, strict regulatory compliance, and full adherence to standards, Razavi Food Industries successfully placed itself at the top of this distinguished list.
A New Achievement in Quality Enhancement and Standardization
Dr. Mojtaba Hadian, CEO of Razavi Food Industries, referred to the company’s previous recognition as Provincial Exemplary Standard Unit in 1396, stating:
“In later years, due to the expansion of our product portfolio—over 110 health manufacturing licenses and 6 standard certification permits—and the tightening of requirements, regaining this title became increasingly challenging.”
He added that from Mehr 1402 to Mehr 1404, the company launched a comprehensive program aimed at continuous quality improvement and full standardization. During this period, more than 150 product tests were conducted in accredited laboratories across the country to ensure zero discrepancies.
According to Hadian, this effort aligned with the company’s receipt of the National Excellence Award and repeated approvals from the Food and Drug Administration and the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade in 1402 and 1403, setting the stage for this year’s national recognition.
He noted that 90% of packaging materials were updated to comply with new standard requirements. “Our goal was full alignment of product packaging with the latest standards. In addition, using premium raw materials conforming to international norms, accurate documentation in the standardization system, and the refinement of production processes were among the key factors in achieving this success.”
Commitment and Effort: The Keys to National Recognition
Dr. Hadian highlighted the significance of this accomplishment:
“Receiving the plaque and trophy from the President is the result of two years of continuous effort by our technical, quality control, and production teams. Since 1402, we systematically revised our production processes, updated quality control methods, and modernized equipment. Today, we are proud that our collective commitment has led to this remarkable achievement.”
He emphasized that the evaluation criteria were extremely rigorous, where even the smallest discrepancy in any product could eliminate a company from the competition. Nevertheless, through strict compliance with national and international standards and strong cooperation with the Khorasan Razavi Standard Office, the company passed all audit stages without a single non-conformity.
Commitment to National Standards and Strengthening the Razavi Brand
The CEO highlighted the impact of this achievement on the Razavi brand:
“Achieving the title of National Exemplary Production Unit significantly strengthens the credibility of the Razavi brand in both domestic and export markets. Adhering to national standards across all production lines, employing modern technologies, and prioritizing consumer health have enhanced public trust and boosted our competitive position.”
He added: “Today, the Razavi brand symbolizes quality, innovation, and consistency in the food industry. Through technological development, training specialized manpower, and investing in quality research, we will continue progressing on the path of excellence.”
Planning for a Sustainable Future
Hadian concluded:
“Maintaining this national standing is a serious responsibility. Our plans for the coming years focus on continuous quality improvement, employee training, developing advanced production lines, and acquiring new international certifications. With the support of the Food and Agriculture Group of the Endowments Productivity Foundation of Astan Quds Razavi, we aim to expand our presence in regional and global markets and become a model for Iran’s food industry.”
