Holding a Combined Rescue and Firefighting Drill at Razavi Food Industries Company
According to the Public Relations and Media Department of Razavi Food Industries Company, the CEO of the company mentioned on the sidelines of the event: “The goal of this drill is to assess the performance of the rescue teams in emergency situations, evaluate access routes, ensure timely communication, practice skills for rescuing victims, and provide fire safety training for employees.”
Mojtaba Hadian stated: “This program provided an opportunity to assess the ability of individuals to respond quickly and improve coordination with both internal and external rescue units.”
He also mentioned the specialized crisis management and passive defense task forces of the company, saying: “These task forces, which include ‘Health, Technical, Safety, and Environmental,’ ‘Cyber Defense,’ and ‘Cultural and Social’ groups, regularly conduct training each year to address fire safety issues.”
The CEO of Razavi Food Industries continued: “Holding such drills is part of the company’s effort to enhance preparedness for crisis situations.”
He further emphasized the positive impacts of these actions, noting: “Crisis management drills not only identify and address weaknesses but also improve the operational skills of employees and provide a better understanding of their roles in emergency situations.”
Hadian added: “Additionally, the development of collaboration between the company and city service organizations in this area aligns with our social responsibility and synergy goals, which is another key outcome of these events.”
Regarding the details of the rescue and firefighting drill, he said: “This drill, based on a pre-determined scenario, began at 9:30 AM and lasted until 10:25 AM. During this exercise, a fire incident at the bread workshop and part of the waste storage area of Razavi Food Industries Factory was simulated.”
Hadian continued: “After the emergency alert, the internal rescue teams were dispatched to the site in less than a minute, and the fire department and ambulance services conducted fire extinguishing, victim rescue, and risk neutralization operations.”
He added: “The presence of emergency and fire-fighting teams, along with safety and health experts to evaluate various aspects of the incident, underscores the importance of this drill and the effort to improve preparedness for potential crises.”
