Razavi Food Industries Achieves “Knowledge-Based” Status for Gluten-Free Product Innovation
The CEO of Razavi Food Industries announced that the company has officially been granted “Knowledge-Based” status for its innovation in producing gluten-free products, specifically Gluten-Free Lavash and Taftoon breads.
According to Razavi Food Industries, Dr. Mojtaba Hadian emphasized the significance of this milestone, stating: “This certification solidifies Razavi Food Industries’ position as a knowledge-driven entity utilizing advanced manufacturing technologies. It further bolsters consumer confidence regarding the quality and safety of our health-oriented products.”
He added that focusing on specialized products tailored to modern societal needs—particularly in the health and wellness sector—has been a cornerstone of the company’s strategic approach in recent years.
Expansion of the Gluten-Free Portfolio
The CEO of the now knowledge-based Razavi Food Industries detailed the steps taken to achieve this success: “The establishment of a specialized production line for gluten-free bread, equipped with cutting-edge technology and supported by rigorous R&D to master the technical know-how, played a pivotal role in securing this title.”
He further noted: “Currently, our portfolio includes gluten-free dry bread, Shirmal bread, and gluten-free flour. Additionally, the development of gluten-free biscuits and cakes is currently in the R&D phase.”
Highlighting the benefits of this status, Dr. Hadian mentioned that besides creating a competitive edge for the ‘Nan-e Razavi’ brand in the flour-based market, it also provides access to incentives such as tax credits for further Research and Development (R&D) activities.
In conclusion, he asserted that given the rising demand for gluten-free options, expanding this sector is crucial for meeting consumer needs and strengthening the company’s industrial standing. He reiterated that moving toward safe, healthy, and technology-driven production remains a top priority, offering a prime opportunity for domestic market growth and a more robust presence in international export markets.
